THE HUNGER GAMES Poster.
Did you see the motion poster that Yahoo! revealed a couple of days ago? It looks just like this but more annoying.

‘Hunger Games’ Short list: Jennifer Lawrence, Saoirse Ronan, Chloe Moretz, Emma Roberts, and more up for Katniss | EW.com
Any of the above would be fine. Except for Emma Roberts.
My thoughts after having just finished reading the Hunger Games trilogy (as in, minutes ago):
Chloë Moretz, Hailee Steinfeld would be my top choices. Jennifer Lawrence is, honestly, too pretty for the role. And too old. In the books, Katniss is 16 and only ages a year by the end of the trilogy. While Moretz and Steinfeld are a little bit younger than that, if Lionsgate plans on making a trilogy, then they’d be better to go for the younger actress (by the end of the trilogy, if Lionsgate fast-tracked it to a movie per year, Lawrence would be 24). Also, Moretz and Steinfeld both convey the childish quality that Katniss needs to bring. Throughout the book, it’s made clear that she’s only a child. Jennifer Lawrence looks way too much like a woman, despite her talent.
Saoirse Ronan is someone I’d never considered and I think she’s a good choice, but with the upcoming Hanna, I think another foray into a killer kid film would be a weird choice. Besides, she’s rumored to be in Peter Jackson’s Hobbit films, so I don’t know how she’d find time to film an entire separate trilogy without the help of a time-turner.
