This is usually not the kind of music that I’m into at all, but there’s something completely mesmerizing about this. Maybe I’m just relating it with my all-out love for the film, but I can’t get enough of the Drive soundtrack right now.

I’m still trying to make up my opinion on Nicolas Winding Refn. I think the guy oozes style, but while I enjoyed the two films of his that I’ve seen — Bronson and Valhalla Rising — they also kind of left me cold. There’s a certain disconnect in his work, and I think it’s an intentional choice.
Drive looks like it might be following that same M.O., but it also looks like it could turn out to be cool as hell. And if early buzz on it is any indication, that’s exactly what it is.
