Trailer: William Shatner’s Get a Life
I‘ve already seen Trekkies, so it doesn’t look like we’re seeing any new territory here, but the Shat’s involvement looks like it’s gonna add an element of fun to this. I’ll be wawtching it when it premieres on EPIX (plus EPIXHD.com and related apps) on July 28th.
Trailer: Martin Scorsese’s George Harrison: Living in the Material World.
This looks great. Scorsese has already proven that he’s got a knack for music documentaries, and if his new George Harrison doc is anything like his Bob Dylan film from a few years back, we’re in for a treat.
Harrison is my favorite Beatle, simply because he seems to be the most enigmatic of the foursome. He was always just as talented as Paul and John, but never seemed to get the same credit. Also, he helped to finance Monty Python’s Life of Brian, so how could you not love him?
The film will play at the New York Film Festival and then hit HBO in October.
