Mike Mitchell: The Portrait Show.
Mike Mitchell, one of my favorite artists, currently has a show running at Mondo in Austin. Here’s a small sampling of the works that are displayed right now (all of which I want hanging on my walls immediately). You can see the entire collection at Mike’s website.

I really wish I had unlimited funds and wallspace for these Mondo posters. Oh, and a whole lotta luck, since it seems that that’s a big requirement to be able to get your hands on one of ‘em.
Mondo does Back to the Future.
Mondo always does a good job of creating posters that make you go “Wow. That probably should’ve been the official one sheet.”
Dumbo by Tom Whalen.
Mondo continues their strong Disney series with this excellent Dumbo piece by Tom Whalen. If you keep up with alternate movie art in the internet at all, then you’ve seen Whalen’s work before and with this one, he’s really created something special. It captures his own unique style while still managing to evoke the classic art of the film. I really love this poster.
It’ll be available for purchase at a random time today at MondoTees. As is the case with all Mondo releases, it’ll probably disappear in a matter of minutes, so follow Mondo on Twitter for the latest updates.
