David Lynch is opening a MULHOLLAND DRIVE-themed night club.
I really wish Mr. Lynch would get around to actually, ya know, making another movie instead of fartin’ around with all of these side projects that he’s been working on for the last few years. Music, coffee, and now, a night club.
At least this night club is based on one of his best films — and my personal favorite of his — Mulholland Drive. If you’ve seen Mulholland Drive then no doubt you’ll remember Club Silencio from one of the most haunting scenes in the film. And now, you can be freaked out in real life because Lynch is opening an actual Club Silencio in Paris in September of this year.
The night club will reportedly feature a concert hall, library, restaurant and movie theater, with the interiors designed by Lynch himself.
Visitors are warned to steer clear of the dumpster out back.
